The Sewing Room
Dear Quilting Friend,
Allow me to take just a moment of your time to introduce you to a new concept I am offering in my home to all quilters and future young quilters.
This is not a quilt shop rather a quilting shop, furnished with machines and quilting equipment. Come here to sew and finish your quilting projects not shop for fabric. Support your local quilt shops for those supplies. This room is equipped with a long arm quilting machine, sewing machines, serger, irons, cutting tools, everything you need to finish. I will personally be available at all times to assist anyone coming to use the room with equipment and tools.
I’ve been teaching quilting for over 30 years. Going way back to when I was a quilt shop owner myself, then the education coordinator/sales for Viking Sewing Machines, a quilt shop employee for many years, and for the last few creating and marketing my own pattern line. Having a full blown retail quilt shop business again did not interest me; guess I’ve been there done that. Besides, I love our home and we have made major renovations to make it our dream home.
I never thought I would be a full time long arm quilter when I bought the quilting machine, but I hate seeing that beautiful machine just sit there. I love to teach others this wonderful art of quilting so it all fell together sort of. I had to get approval and finance from the other half to enlarge the room of course, when that happened, here we are. I hope you will give me a call to visit my newly expanded and remodeled sewing room above my garage. The room is open with great views and excellent natural color lighting. A private scissor staircase along the side of my garage keeps my home and business separate. The driveway is blacktop and double wide with parking.
“Focus On Finish”
The Sewing Room is not a quilt shop but rather a Quilting Shop. Come here to sew and quilt your projects not shop for fabric. Support your Local Quilt Shops for those supplies. The Sewing Room is fully equipped with a long arm quilting machine, serger, sewing machines, and all the notions that go along with a successful quilting experience. I’ve made the investment now you get the benefits.
